Ataytis BOM

Security and certification

What Microsoft certification confirms, what Ataytis BOM does with report data, what is saved in the report, and how links open.

A certified visual makes no network requests

Ataytis BOM is Microsoft-certified. Certification confirms the published package has passed Microsoft's code review and testing, including the requirement that the visual makes no outbound network requests at all: no remote scripts, fonts, images, telemetry or calls to any service. It requests no Power BI privileges, and everything it draws comes from the rows in the report.

Report data is read and drawn inside Power BI. Nothing is sent to AtaytisTech.

What is saved in the report

The configuration, meaning the views, columns, rules, colours and other settings, is saved in the report through Power BI. The visual uses no browser storage.

What a reader opens, highlights or focuses on is not saved. The next reader sees the report as its author set it up.

A Details or Tooltips column with the Web URL data category is shown as a link in the details panel, and opens through Power BI. The visual's own links, on the page it shows before any data is added, go to ataytistech.com.
